Hiding cat scratches on my new suede sofa suite arrgghh?

My cat has shredded the material on the arms and sides of my new mocha coloured microfibre sofa suite, a 2 seater and a 3 seater of the modern square arm shape. The shredding is the worst on the arm/corners of each sofa, and looks terrible!! I have tried getting some decorative trims to patch over it but I need about 20 metres of stuff and cant find anything wide enough to do the job, or affordable enough. Replacing the covers or professional repair is not possible? Any ideas from anyone? (besides methods of feline extermination please, have enough ideas of my own)
