how do i get rid off cigarette smells from my settee? i have just had this new 2 piece suitee from my aunt who used 2 smoke like mad, and the suite is now stnking of cigarette smokel how cna i get rid of it a si have tried washing it down with soapy water and spraying dettol onto it but the smell is so bad.

I have a electric blue settee do you think i should washing it with a machine or canned cleaning spray.? It is a blue fabric settee i turn it and clean it with the hover all the time but it has come to the stage where i feel it really needs a complete clean now, i've had my suite for 7 years and it is as good now as it was when i brought it but i just feel the blue looking a bit dull and i think it would look better cleaned. I will have to sit down whilst doing it as i am in a wheelchair

have bought a 2pc suite from major retailer which all cracked and am unhappy with the repair? my suite was 6 months olds at time of complaint which was that all the seat pads and footrests had cracked and split,i was told this was cos of the leather being from the belly of the cow!!!they have replaced the seat pads but where my settee is cream the replaced parts look nearly yellow.i have refused the settee and told them very clearly i am unhappy with it and that it will not be coming into my house,have also threatened to cancel standing order but this will only blacklist me!!have told them i either want a replacement or refund and will go elsewhere....any advice will be welcome as i dont really know where i stand. also they did say if the complaint was in first 28 days it would be a straight replacement or money back but cos its npt then they only have to repair it but the colour difference is so different its like 2 different settees

how can i get the smell out of a leather settee? i have just got a second hand leather suite and it has a very strong smell of tobacco what could i use on it which would take the smell away and not ruin the leather or mark it

cleaning a leather suite? I have a cream leather settee and recently bought some black fluffy cushions I have noticed that some of the dye has rubbed off onto the arm any ideas on how to get it off without ruining it. Help!

My kitten is tearing my leather suite? My kitten has taken to scratching my leather settee. He has put three big tears in it already and I have turned those cushions over. Is there anything I can spray on it to keep him off it ? No cruel answers please or I will have to kick you in the head and chuck you in a river.

i put £500 cash as a deposit on a 3 piece suite and was told i would get it in 4 weeks? i phoned yesterday to be told he went bust and left the shop on friday what can i do so upset as i saved a long time for this as im unemployed through sickness not my choice ...£500 is a lot of money to me..i offered cedit card as my deposit but he asked for cash..the shop is called our place in bilston wolverhampton .someone is now selling settees from the same department where i left my deposit ive tried phoning but message box is full so cannot leave message surely he knew when he took my deposit he was going bust as i only paid deposit on the 3 3 2008 please help as idont know what to do thank you

cushion covers? just brought pale pink and ivory settee and armchair covers our old cushion covers were cream and look washed out and tired any ideas what colours we can use to get the best effect from the suite thanks happy to go bold or subtle
