How do you keep sofa cushions from slipping forward on a sofa? We have an overstuffed suede-like fabric sofa. The velcro strips underneath the cushions don't hold them in place. When we sit on the sofa the cushions slip forward and at some point I have to squash them all back into place. Is there any way to keep them from slipping forward? I've noticed other sofas with this same problem - overstuffed or not.

water marks on sofa covers, how do i get rid of them? My sofa is kinda creamy colour, and a few months ago we spilled some sauce on it..... i used vanish stuff on it suitable for sofas and i'm happy to say the stain came out perfectly! Only thing is that now i'm left with a water mark where i wet the cover to clean it. How can i get rid of that? What is the best way to clean a micro-fiber sofa? I have a sectional sofa that is a very light cream color. It is made from that suede like, micro fiber (that is supposedly easy to clean). How to clean a velvet chenille sofa? My wife and I purchased a velvet chenille sofa a while back, and have noticed that whenever any liquid (even just water) gets on the sofa, it leavs a spot. We tried cleaning one of these spots with the cleaner we were given, and it only made the spot bigger. Does replacing the mattress in a sofa bed make it more comfortable? I have a traditional sofa sleeper that is very uncomfortable. I have seen a number of mattress replacements on line that offer memory form, are part air mattress, or just claim to be better than a traditional mattress. I am concerned that the bed is uncomfortable primarily because of the bed support and no matter how good a mattress I get it is still going to be uncomfortable. How can I tell if my Gooseneck Sofa is an Antique or Reproduction? I have a sofa that was given to me. The arms of the are sofa are "rolled" and upholstery covered but there is a carved wooden "frame". On the carved part of the arms, instead of a goose design, end in a wooden scroll/ball that curves from the sofa arm. The gooseneck is actually carved into the woodwork at the center of the sofa back. The feet of the sofa are also wood & have the same scroll/ball design. The wood is dark and I don't believe the upholstery is original. Can anyone help? or at least give me some idea of where to look?
